Job Summary:

We're seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Customer Service Trainees. As a Trainee, you'll participate in a comprehensive hybrid training program that combines on-site and remote learning. This unique opportunity will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in a customer-facing role, while also providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Typical Assignments:

As a Customer Service Trainee, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills in the following areas:

  • Researching inquiries by accessing our claims processing system and other informational sources
  • Responding to customer, group, and provider questions through telephone contact and/or written communication, using proper etiquette, grammar, punctuation, and tone
  • Maintaining related departmental records and files
  • Operating office equipment, including personal computers, calculators, copiers, and fax machines
  • Making corrections to claims and eligibility
  • Entering new claims, eligibility, and subscriber information into our mainframe
  • Reviewing subscriber coverage to determine type and level of benefits

Minimum Requirements:

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

  • One year of customer service experience in a business environment that requires the use of a computer program to assist the customer, preferably in a call center, and/or dental experience
  • Successful completion of the customer service simulation test (minimum score of 62 out of a possible 100) (assessment waived if candidate previously passed test while at arenaflex or if previously held Customer Service Trainee, Customer Service Advisor, or Customer Service Associate position)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning and evening shifts, Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a dental or healthcare environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software

  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes
