Job Summary:

Join the innovative and growing team at arenaflex as an Experienced Manager State & Higher Education, where you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's strategic direction for State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts. As a key member of the Southwest Business Department, you will coach and professionally develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management, while increasing sales, establishing formal partnerships, and broadening awareness of arenaflex corporate travel programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coach and professionally develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales growth and expand arenaflex's presence in the managed travel industry

  • Identify and hire trusted Advisors to join the sales organization, ensuring a strong and diverse team that can effectively promote arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services
  • Establish formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts, increasing sales and broadening awareness of arenaflex's offerings
  • Collaborate with fellow Leaders to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, educators, and business leaders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve arenaflex's competitive edge

Essential Qualifications:

* 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the managed travel industry

  • Proven track record of success in sales growth, partnership development, and team management
  • Strong understanding of the State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel market and its key players
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances

  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services, as well as the company's culture and values
  • Certification in a relevant field, such as travel management or sales leadership
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including government officials, educators, and business leaders
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends and best practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge to improve arenaflex's competitive edge
