The Role
We're seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to join our team and help us develop innovative web and cloud applications that will take our business to new heights. As a key member of our software engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performance applications that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to develop and deploy web and cloud applications that meet business requirements and customer needs.
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using a range of technologies, including AWS, Python, Java, and JavaScript.
- Work with data engineers and scientists to develop and deploy data-driven applications that provide insights and recommendations to our customers and stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment to ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software engineering and apply this knowledge to improve our applications and processes.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on web and cloud applications.
- Strong experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, and other services.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and JavaScript, with experience in developing scalable and secure applications.
- Experience with data engineering and science, including data warehousing, ETL, and data visualization.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
* AWS Certification, including Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with data quality tools, including Great Expectations, Deequ, or similar.
- Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems, with experience in developing and deploying applications on these platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance, with experience in developing and deploying secure applications.
