Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Customs Trade Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Processing and arranging customs clearance for shipments, utilizing data from various sources, including databases, SOPs, duty books, and the web
  • Handling and processing different import-related documentation for submission to US Customs, as well as managing PGA (Participating Government Agencies) interactions
  • Maintaining and updating all shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with all international importing and exporting regulations
  • Collaborating with internal staff, divisions, other arenaflex activities, and clients to deliver a high level of service and support
  • Processing organization financier shipments and handling distant filings as needed
  • Ensuring adherence to all service and operational procedures
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, trade, business, or a related field)

  • No prior industry experience is required, but a minimum of 6 months of work experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in data entry and computer skills, including MS Office, Viewpoint, and other office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, scanner)
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, transporters, intermediaries, government agencies, and internal staff
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle high volumes of work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with various systems and reference materials
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions

Preferred Qualifications:

* HS Certificate or GED

  • Industry experience in logistics, trade, or a related field
  • Proficiency in multiple software systems and platforms
  • Experience working with government agencies and regulatory bodies
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance requirements
