Job Summary

As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in the execution, streamlining, and normalization of our expense and asset distribution models. You'll be responsible for managing, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions and drive operational improvements. Key Responsibilities

* Develop a deep understanding of costing and resourcing data related to our internal groups and functional partners

• Support the coordination of high-speed projects that normalize and advance financial cycles across the organization
• Support internal business work processes, such as administration costing, workforce management, and asset planning
• Work with various data systems and deliver ad-hoc analysis and reports to support business needs, research, and resolve measurement-based issues
• Archive work processes connected with key cycles, data collection and maintenance, including tracking significant decisions and changes
• Collaborate with Data Architects and system designers to support documentation and executions of data set plans
• Build vital dynamic structures and write scripts that help us automate and enhance data analysis
• Develop insights from data and create compelling storytelling for executive audiences
• Support Planning and Delivery Activities with impromptu demands from our partners

Essential Capabilities

* 3+ years of experience in informatics, data analysis, data science, or technical fields

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Information Science, Statistics, Business Finance/Accounting, Informatics, or Software Engineering
• Experience working with data and data control software like R, SQL, Python; building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, Airtable, Smartsheet
• Understanding of data set planning and capability
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Proven self-starter with solid critical thinking, unwavering discernment, and conveying abilities
• Successful collaboration and time management skills
• Attention to detail with the ability to step back and grasp the big picture
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with design delivery teams to explore technical concepts
• Experience with Success, Smartsheet, or potentially AirTable

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a technical field

• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, D3.js, or Matplotlib
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
• Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks
