Program Overview

Our program is designed to provide a unique opportunity for Service Providers (SPs) to work with us on a flexible schedule, choosing their own hours to meet the required minimum of 30 hours per week. The program will run from January 13th, 2025, to April 15th, 2025, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer support during the peak tax season.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing top-notch support to customers via phone, chat, and email
  • Resolving complex issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and tax season changes to provide accurate information to customers
  • Meeting service level and contact per hour commitments
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities
  • Maintaining a positive and empathetic tone in all customer interactions
  • Participating in training and certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts (preferably)
  • Experience providing support in a call center environment (preferably)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work extra shifts when needed
  • Ability to adhere to work schedules and meet service level commitments

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with software troubleshooting and technical issues

  • Knowledge of tax preparation software and tax laws
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
