Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Processing orders received via Fax, EDI, email, and by phone, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
- Verifying pricing and shipping dates within 24 hours after receipt, maintaining order guides and pricing in our software system
- Proactively communicating with Production and the Warehouse to avoid potential customer shortages, including releasing lots and allocating items as needed
- Tracking order fulfillment and communicating shortages to customers, providing information on when products will be available or suggesting substitute items
- Working with the Accounting Department to resolve credit issues and release orders
- Processing PO change requests, returns, and samples
- Handling customer issues and complaints by referring them to the appropriate department and logging them into the system, following up to resolution
- Communicating with Sales, Supply Chain, Production, Logistics, and Warehousing on a regular basis to ensure customer needs are met
- Organizing work to meet deadlines and assisting the Sales Department in growing customer business
Education, Qualities, and Skills Required
* High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-3 years' experience in a customer service role, preferably in a grocery, food, or retail channel
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; experience working within Sage X3 or other similar ERP system is a plus
- Familiarity with EDI transaction sets
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Works with a high sense of urgency
- Dependable and results-oriented
- Self-directed and able to work well independently or in a team
- Organized with high attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- Above-average communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong interpersonal skills

Supervisory Responsibility
No direct supervision required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time hourly position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Expectations of 45 hours per week, to be worked during normal business hours. The business hours for this position will be based in the PST or MST time zones.

The physical requirements for this role include:
- Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation
- Typing: Frequent use of hands to type on a keyboard and operate a computer mouse
- Visual Requirements: Extended periods of viewing a computer screen and reading printed or digital documents
- Mobility: Occasional walking or standing, including moving between different areas of the office
- Manual Dexterity: The ability to handle office equipment, such as phones, printers, and copiers, and to file documents
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues, customers, and vendors
- Lifting: Occasionally lifting and carrying light objects, typically up to 20 pounds, such as files, documents, or office supplies
- Reaching and Bending: Reaching above shoulder height and bending to access files and office supplies
- Hearing: Adequate hearing ability to participate in meetings and teleconferences
Compensation and Benefits
The budgeted salary range for this position is $25-$32 per hour, with a 5% annual bonus potential. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

Salary range is based on consideration of required qualifications, experience, education, skill, training, certifications, or seniority, etc. arenaflex reserves the right to offer the selected candidate or applicant an hourly rate or salary at an appropriate level to be set and determined by arenaflex that is commensurate with the applicant's qualifications, experience, education, skill, training, certifications, or seniority.
