The Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, ensuring that their expectations are met and exceeded. You'll be the primary point of contact for customers, handling incoming calls, responding to requests, and providing information on our products and services.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls and responding to customer requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing guidelines and priorities
  • Booking appointments for customers with a high degree of data accuracy
  • Maintaining excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring that customers are informed and satisfied
  • Identifying and escalating issues to supervisors, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed promptly
  • Providing information and explanations to customers, answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Maintaining and improving quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of one year of experience in an inbound/outbound call center or retail environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, speaking on the phone, using the computer, and typing simultaneously
  • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute
  • Experience in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining established quality requirements
  • Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience working in the home improvement industry
  • Knowledge of CRM software and customer relationship management principles
  • Experience with data entry and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a remote or hybrid environment
