Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Customs Trade Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Providing exceptional client care and ensuring timely resolution of client queries
- Processing and arranging customs clearance for shipments from various data sources, SOPs, duty books, web, and customs
- Data entry and handling of various import-related documentation for submission to US Customs and other participating government agencies
- Maintaining and updating all shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
- Ensuring compliance with all international importing and exporting regulations
- Collaborating with internal staff, divisions, other arenaflex activities, and clients to deliver a high level of service to clients
- Processing organization financier shipments
- Handling distant filings and ensuring all service and organizational strategies are followed
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, business, international trade)
- No industry experience required, but a minimum of six months of work experience is preferred
- Proficiency in data entry and computer skills
- Required skills include MS Office, Viewpoint, and office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, scanner)
- Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle high volumes of work and meet deadlines
- Ability to use various systems and reference materials
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work with clients, transporters, intermediaries, government agencies, internal staff, and management at all levels
Preferred Qualifications:
* HS Certificate or GED
- Industry experience in logistics, customs, or trade compliance
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures
- Experience with customs clearance software and systems
- Familiarity with arenaflex's systems and processes
