TITLE: WordPress Developer Needed — SEO Fixes, Resource Center Build & Litter Page Redesign ABOUT THE PROJECT: We are Black Iron Boerboels (blackironboerboels.com), a premier South African Boerboel breeding kennel located in Fairmount, Indiana. We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer with strong on-page SEO skills to complete three defined projects on our self-hosted WordPress.org site. All SEO fixes are fully documented in a detailed handoff document — no research or strategy work required on your end, just implementation. --- PROJECT 1 — SEO FIXES (Estimated: 2-3 hours) A complete SEO fix document will be provided with everything copy-paste ready. Tasks include:

• Update title tags and meta descriptions on 8+ pages (Yoast or RankMath)
• Install 'Insert Headers and Footers' plugin and add LocalBusiness schema code
• Add alt text to all dog profile and gallery images (approx. 30+ images)
• Fix copy inconsistencies on About and Upcoming Litters pages
• Restructure navigation menu (move Maine Coon page out of main dog nav)
• Create a separate archived page for retired breeding dogs
• Add FAQ section with provided content to homepage

PROJECT 2 — RESOURCE CENTER BUILD (Estimated: 3-5 hours) We have an active blog and want to build a structured Resource Center / Learning Hub for Boerboel owners and buyers. This would include:

• A new Resource Center landing page with organized categories (Health, Training, Breed Info, Puppy Care, etc.)
• Category archive pages with clean card-style layouts linking to existing blog posts
• A simple, filterable layout so visitors can find content by topic
• SEO-optimized page title and meta for the Resource Center

PROJECT 3 — LITTER PAGE LAYOUT REDESIGN (Estimated: 3-5 hours) Our current litters pages need a cleaner, more structured layout. We are looking for:

• A redesigned litter listing layout — cleaner cards with sire/dam info, born date, availability status, and CTA buttons
• Individual litter detail pages with a more organized structure (about the pairing, puppy photos, availability grid, deposit/application CTA)
• Mobile-friendly design that matches our existing brand colors (navy and gold)
• Availability indicators (Available / Reserved / Coming Soon) displayed clearly per puppy

--- REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven WordPress.org experience (self-hosted, NOT WordPress.com)
• Strong on-page SEO knowledge (Yoast or RankMath)
• Clean, mobile-first front-end design skills
• Ability to work within an existing custom theme without breaking it
