Job Summary
As a Customer Advocate - Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for researching and responding to written inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders. Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business, communications) or 3 years of experience in provider network contracting, credentialing, or servicing in a healthcare or health insurance environment. - Proven experience in provider outreach, decision-making, and responding quickly to customer inquiries. - Strong data entry and typing skills (at least 40 wpm). - Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills. - Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). - Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in provider network contracting, credentialing, or servicing in a healthcare or health insurance environment. - 6 months of data entry experience in an office environment. - Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. - Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
