Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and architectures that support our business and information science needs. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related challenges, and develop innovative solutions that drive business growth and improvement. Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures that support our business and information science needs

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related challenges, and develop innovative solutions that drive business growth and improvement
  • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch data processing
  • Work with our data science team to integrate data and models into automated processes, and develop data visualizations and reports to support business decision-making
  • Develop and maintain data stores and data models to support information science and other internal clients, and ensure data quality and accessibility standards are met
  • Investigate current data technology trends to identify and evaluate key capabilities and recommend solutions
  • Explore and recommend new tools and technologies to support data engineering and analytics initiatives

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering, with a strong background in programming languages
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL, and 5+ years of experience with Python
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark

  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of medical data and analytics
  • Experience with DevOps practices, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment

Skills and Competencies

* Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in data engineering and analytics

  • Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data governance
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related challenges
