Job Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Specialist-Extended Hours at arenaflex, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, both over the phone and through digital channels. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Efficiently serving the needs of internal and external customers: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve problems, and gather necessary information to document and resolve customer issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records: Document account information on the computer for each customer, maintain telephone call statistics, and adhere to strict data protection protocols.
  • Processing transactions: Process telephone transfers, loan payments, and stop payments requests made by phone, as well as monitor and respond to online chats from our website.
  • Maintaining knowledge of regulations: Stay up-to-date on regulations governing transactions in relation to banking services, including demand deposits and savings accounts.
  • Providing technical support: Assist customers with Internet Banking and Bill Pay, reset electronic banking PINS, and answer debit card inquiries.
  • Cross-selling and sales referrals: Identify sales referral opportunities and make appropriate referrals, participating in sales campaigns as identified.

Additional Responsibilities:

* Maintaining accurate department records: Keep accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and issues.

  • Staying up-to-date on bank products and services: Stay informed about all arenaflex products and services to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Performing other duties as assigned: Be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

* High school graduate or equivalent: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Extensive knowledge of banking products and services: A minimum of two years of customer service experience or related experience is required, with a strong understanding of banking products and services.
  • Financial Call Center experience: While not required, experience in a financial call center is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently: You must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks: You must be able to perform repetitive tasks, such as answering phone calls and processing transactions, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work from home: You must be able to work from home, using a secure remote connection, and be able to maintain a dedicated workspace.
  • Ability to travel to office: You must be able to travel to the office for periodic meetings and training.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 360: You must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft 360, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail: You must be able to maintain attention to detail, even in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relationship builder: You must be able to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Flexible and dependable: You must be flexible and dependable, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering results.
