Responsibilities
As a Mortgage Origination Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients through phone, email, and other contact channels, ensuring that their queries are addressed promptly and accurately.
- Utilizing your mortgage industry knowledge to find answers in our comprehensive knowledge database, providing clients with timely and relevant information.
- Following standard operating procedures for various topics, systems, and contact channels, ensuring consistency and quality in our service delivery.
- Documenting all contacts in our database accurately, maintaining up-to-date records of client interactions.
- Staying updated on FHA mortgage processes and procedures, ensuring that your knowledge is current and relevant to our clients' needs.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School diploma or GED certificate.
- A minimum of 2 years of mortgage origination experience, including roles such as loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, or loan officer.
- A minimum of 1 year of contact center or telephone customer service experience.
- The ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, including a credit check and background investigation.
Nice-to-Haves
While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be beneficial:
- Bilingual (Spanish & English), verbal and written.
- Strong FHA knowledge/background.
- Contact center experience (Omnichannel).
