Responsibilities
As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating the Property & Casualty member experience by handling inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, or other contacts from members, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of their queries and concerns.
- Assisting members with foundational to moderately complex quotes, binding new business, rating, policy, billing, payment, underwriting, contract, and coverage provisions, and premium changes for insurance products and services.
- Identifying, evaluating, and understanding member needs to provide complete and accurate advice and solutions for insurance products and services, driving sales and retention growth.
- Providing detailed issue diagnosis while minimizing member transfers, escalations, and call backs, ensuring a seamless and efficient member experience.
- Efficiently operating in a contact center environment and navigating multiple systems and programs while maintaining engaging member interactions across multiple channels.
- Maintaining required Property & Casualty license and state registrations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- The ability to provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and professionally by phone and email.
- The ability to prioritize and multi-task while navigating through multiple business applications.
- Knowledge and understanding of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements.
- The ability to acquire Property & Casualty licenses and state registrations within 90 days of hire.
Nice-to-haves
While not essential, the following experience and skills would be beneficial:
- 1 year of customer contact experience in a needs-based sales environment.
- 6 months experience frequently communicating with customers by phone, e-mail, and/or face to face.
- US military experience through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner.
