Experienced Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative – Remote Opportunity with arenaflex

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our members, providing empathetic and informed support to help them navigate their health needs and benefits. As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM EST.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Engaging with members to understand their health needs and concerns, and providing empathetic and informed support to help them navigate their benefits and claims.
- Reviewing member claim history for accuracy and ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date.
- Explaining member rights and responsibilities, and providing education on relevant health topics.
- Building trusting relationships with members through active listening, empathy, and effective communication.
- Performing financial data maintenance, including updating member information and processing claims.
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center atmosphere.
- Previous behavioral health experience is preferred, but not required.
- A strong background in medical or insurance is also a plus.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and resolve them efficiently.
- Proficiency in computer software and systems, including CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience working in a behavioral health setting, including hospitals, clinics, or insurance companies.
- Certification in a relevant field, such as crisis intervention or mental health first aid.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with members from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
