Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Assist franchised distributor customers in selecting automotive tools and toolboxes, providing expert recommendations and guidance to ensure they find the right solutions for their needs.
- Handle inbound calls, providing pricing details, part numbers, and troubleshooting issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide technical support by sharing information from the arenaflex catalog and trusted suppliers, helping customers to make informed decisions and resolve complex issues.
- Input orders accurately using internal software systems, ensuring seamless communication and efficient order processing.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service team to resolve challenges and ensure seamless communication, leveraging your problem-solving skills and adaptability to drive results.
- Engage with subject matter experts across departments for cross-functional problem-solving, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating your ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent, with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and customer service.
- Flexibility to work from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM ET, Monday to Friday, with a focus on delivering exceptional results during your scheduled hours.
- At least 1 year of call center experience or equivalent customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering top-notch support and resolving complex issues.
- On-the-job experience with general automotive mechanics is a plus, but not required.
- Intermediate PC and keyboard skills, with the ability to navigate internal software systems and tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret customer issues and troubleshoot effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
Nice-to-Haves
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role:
- ASE certification, demonstrating your expertise in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Automotive expertise, with a strong understanding of tools, equipment, and industry best practices.
