We're looking for skilled, independent therapists who want access to strong business support while maintaining full control over their practice. We are seeking a fully licensed therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) in Pennsylvania to collaborate with our practice as a 1099 independent contractor. We are also open to working with pre-licensed clinicians if they provide proof that they are receiving Clinical Supervision from a qualified supervisor. About the Opportunity: This is a chance to run your clinical practice the way you choose, with access to business infrastructure that removes the administrative burden of solo practice. You will provide virtual therapy to the clients you choose to accept, using the modalities, treatment approaches, and scheduling that work best for you. You decide how you work. We provide the tools and systems to support it. Your Role as an Independent Contractor: Contractors with Emberly provide teletherapy services to clients of their choosing, setting their own treatment approach, modalities, and clinical methods. You determine your own schedule and weekly client volume, complete clinical documentation according to your professional standards and licensure requirements, and accept or decline referrals based on your clinical judgment and availability. Who We're Looking For: We are looking for a fully licensed therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) in Pennsylvania and in good standing, with a strong commitment to ethical, client-centered care. We are open to working with pre-licensed therapists as well. The ideal contractor is experienced in working independently, managing their own caseload, and has a clinical interest or background in trauma, postpartum mental health, anxiety, or relationship concerns. Comfort with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is essential. We welcome clinicians interested in working approximately 15–27 hours per week. Compensation: Independent contractors retain 70% of all reimbursed clinical revenue generated through services rendered. Emberly Counseling retains 30% to cover EHR access, administrative support, and billing services available to all contractors. Revenue is calculated based on amounts actually collected from insurers or clients, not billed amounts. Payment is disbursed on a bi-weekly basis unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties. A flat infrastructure access fee of $50.00 paid by the contractor per week covers insurance credentialing, ongoing claims management, rejected claim appeals, and eligibility verification; services that actively protect the clinician's revenue on an ongoing basis. This fee is not tied to hours worked, client volume, or revenue generated, and is automatically deducted from earned revenue prior to each disbursement. If earned revenue in a given pay period is insufficient to cover the fee, exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis at the mutual agreement of the Practice Owner and the Independent Contractor, and any such accommodation will be documented in writing and signed by both parties. Infrastructure & Resources Available to Contractors: As an independent contractor with Emberly, you have access to a network of potential client referrals which you may accept or decline at your discretion, insurance credentialing and billing support services, intake coordination systems for clients you choose to onboard, a HIPAA-compliant EHR platform for documentation, a secure telehealth platform, optional consultation opportunities with the Clinical Director, and marketing and practice visibility support.
