Part-Time Video Editor Opportunity at AdClass Performance Ads Remote | Part-Time | Contract (Per-Deliverable Pay) AdClass is hiring a performance-focused Video Editor to produce high-converting ad creatives. This is not just a "make it look cool" role. Your job is to edit ads that stop the scroll, connect with qualified leads, and drive revenue for our clients. You'll work closely with our Creative Lead and Media Buyers to turn proven winning ad angles, video scripts, and raw footage into ads that scale across Meta, YouTube, and Google. If you obsess over why ads work, iterate fast, and let performance data guide your edits, this role fits.

What You'll Do

Edit Ads That Convert

• Edit short-form and mid-form video ads from raw footage, UGC, talking heads, screen recordings, and stock footage
• Deliver scroll-stopping creatives optimized for Meta, YouTube Shorts, and Reels
• Turn winning ads into high-volume variations (new hooks, pacing, captions, visuals)
• Repurpose organic content into paid ads that actually convert
• Implement modern top-performing editing patterns: fast hooks, pattern interrupts, captions, punch-ins, b-roll overlays, utilizing AI assets when necessary
• Use your discernment, knowledge of top-performing ad formats, and provided brand guidelines to create a polished and launch-ready final product

Performance-Driven Editing

• Edit with direct-response intent. We focus on value over vibes
• Create launch-ready scripts, hooks, and angles rooted in avatar psychology and offer positioning
• Collaborate with media buyers to iterate based on CTR, CPL, hook retention, and ROAS
• Provide new creative to brands when required (EX: fatigue, scaling, new offers)

Speed and Systems

• Hit tight turnaround times without sacrificing quality
• Follow and improve existing creative SOPs
• Keep ad accounts stocked with fresh creatives as necessary
• Name files, versions, and variations cleanly (we scale fast, sloppiness kills speed)

KPIs You'll Be Accountable For

• Volume of ad-ready creatives delivered weekly
• Turnaround time from request to final export
• Creative iteration velocity (variants per winner)
• Performance contribution (ads you edit that scale)

What You Bring Editing Tools

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (CapCut experience a plus)
• Comfortable with Captions App and subtitle-based editing
• Familiar with AI tools (Descript, ElevenLabs, basic AI video workflows)

Performance Mindset

• You understand what makes direct-response ads work, going beyond just aesthetics
• You know how pacing, hooks, captions, and framing impact results
• You're comfortable editing quality ads for local services (contractors, home services, land clearing, etc.) and big brands alike

Execution Style

• You take feedback fast and apply it immediately
• You don't get attached to edits, data determines what wins
• You can work independently without being micromanaged

Compensation

This is a contract role. You are paid per deliverable, based on the rate card below. There is no fixed salary or performance bonus structure.
