As a Customer Escalations Phone Agent, you will play a vital role in assisting customers who have received notification pertaining to a past rental or previous transaction. Using customer-provided information, you will assist the customer with taking a payment for a prior rental or resolving an outdated alert. Your goal will be to craft acceptable solutions to address our customer's needs and get them back on the road!

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Escalations Phone Agent, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers on the phone and by chat who have received notification pertaining to a past rental or previous transaction
  • Using customer-provided information to assist the customer with taking a payment for a prior rental or resolving an outdated alert
  • Crafting acceptable solutions to address customer needs and get them back on the road
  • Working independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
  • Communicating efficiently through an instant messaging program
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of our products and services to offer tailored solutions
  • Anticipating customer needs and offering proactive service
  • Displaying empathy and understanding when assisting with customer concerns
  • Maintaining composure in challenging situations and providing thoughtful and helpful solutions

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Minimum 6+ months customer service experience
  • Dual monitors are required
  • Hard-wired to internet
  • Friendly and caring tone
  • Engage with customers in a friendly, approachable manner
  • Support a positive environment for customer interactions
  • Knowledgeable care for various customer needs
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to offer tailored solutions
  • Anticipate customer needs and offer proactive service
  • Ability to display empathy in adverse environments
  • Show empathy and understanding when assisting with customer concerns
  • Maintain composure in challenging situations and provide thoughtful and helpful solutions

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Goal-oriented and willing to learn different systems
  • Ability to navigate multiple software applications and systems with speed and accuracy
  • Employ quick problem-solving skills to provide efficient solutions
  • Possess a normal typing speed, ensuring accurate data entry
  • Strong spelling and grammar skills for professional written communication

Compensation and Benefits

As a Customer Escalations Phone Agent, you will receive:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $16/hour (hourly base pay rate may be higher, depending on state or local minimum wage laws)

Technical Requirements

To work from home, you will need to meet the following technical requirements:

  • Computer requirements and internet speed will be verified, if interviewed
  • Computer specifications:

+ Windows 11 or MacOS 13 Ventura or newer + 16GB (Minimum) of RAM/memory or higher (Recommended: 32GB) + Windows processor must have CPU benchmark score of 6,000 (Minimum) or higher (Recommended: 10,000) + Mac processor must be Intel Core i5 or higher, M chips acceptable + SSD internal storage with 5GB (Minimum) free space

  • Additional hardware:

+ Webcam (external or built-in) + USB headset (wired) + Dual monitors

  • Internet speeds:

+ Ping under 100 + 50MB (Minimum) download speed (Recommended: 100MB) + 5MB (Minimum) upload speed (Recommended: 10MB)
