Experienced Customer Service Representative – Remote Work Opportunity with arenaflex

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of arenaflex, interacting with customers in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. You'll be the go-to expert for resolving issues, answering questions, and providing solutions that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key responsibilities

* Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets

  • Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations
  • Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
  • Perform traveler check-in and boarding tasks, including redress oversold seat tasks and issue upgrades
  • Issue vouchers and coordinate with vendors for traveler lodging facilities, meals, and transportation; coordinate refuel and revitalize
  • Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/confirmation
  • Work door reader/scanner and related duties, including pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items and departure line standards
  • Work jetways/bridges for purposes of boarding and deplaning travelers
  • Make boarding and departure gate announcements
  • Convey domestic/international flight records
  • Perform traveler service flight close-out procedures
  • Accept, check, and label travelers' bags at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and five-star ticket counters
  • Maintain schedule of flight boarding process
  • Perform customer service hands-on training
  • Process and complete credit card transactions at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations
  • Assist travelers with self-service kiosk registration and stand staff handling at ticket counters
  • Man lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters
  • Clear/confirm international reports at booth in the ticket counter area and activation stations
  • Accept and activate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
  • Assist clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and moving non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, as well as unaccompanied minors
  • Perform customer service work related to handling regional flights and project worker/ground handling arrangements or agreements
  • Have regular and predictable attendance on location, including fulfilling any required overtime prerequisites
  • Answer and assist during security and emergency situations
  • Provide connecting traveler door information
  • Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and according to arenaflex's standards
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards
  • Complete task applicable training stages
  • Comply with federal laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA)
  • Utilize various internal resources/frameworks, including during customer communications
  • Wear uniforms as required by company policy
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace

All you'll need for success

* Minimum Capabilities: + Education and Earlier Professional training + Bilingual language abilities expected in certain areas + Valid substantial driver's license as required by local authorities + Should meet FAA criminal record checks to qualify for unescorted access awards to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable + Should be able to obtain suitable airport power or potentially US Customs security identifications, if pertinent + Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, thorough background check, or potentially fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements + Should be approved to work in the U.S.

  • Preferred Capabilities:

+ Training and Earlier Professional training + Working knowledge of Saber or other Traveler Service Framework + Past face-to-face Customer service experience + Working in a high-speed environment
