Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Control Standards and Guidelines team as a Data Analyst. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends and patterns, and making recommendations to improve our quality control processes. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and success.

Responsibilities

As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components
  • Helping with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders
  • Assisting with exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities
  • Presenting insights, patterns, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding
  • Helping with creating and disseminating specific questions to pull and coordinate data from different sources, laying out the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements
  • Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team
  • Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors
  • Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision
  • May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with care and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey thoughts and ideas to various audiences
  • Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong working knowledge of data visualization tools and capacities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase
  • Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning
  • Willingness to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications
  • Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-focused environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and be a self-motivated individual
  • Past internship experience in a related field is a plus
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to plan and support large business initiatives
