Prepare corporate income tax returns, calculate estimated payments, and compile provision components. Participate in tax research, analysis, and training: A Tax Specialist II in Finance is responsible for conducting basic tax research to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations and engaging in purposeful training to stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations. Supporting tax audits: A Tax Specialist II in Finance is responsible for assisting with tax audits and providing supportive analysis. Apply understanding of business operations to assess tax implications and support internal stakeholders. Key Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. Capable of setting priorities effectively and performing both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Possesses knowledge of continuous process improvement and automation methodologies, with proven skill in their implementation. Basic knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including an understanding of basic tax research tools and techniques. Successful Candidates Typically Have: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred 1-3 years of corporate tax or public accounting experience Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and corporate tax principles Proficient in tax compliance, provision, and research software; ONESOURCE experience a plus Advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with ERP systems, and general digital tools Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, and/or AI.
