Bilingual Intake & Client Coordination Specialist

We are a California wrongful death law firm seeking a fluent bilingual (Spanish/English) Intake & Client Coordination Specialist to assist with client communication, intake, and preparation of standard case documents. This is a remote independent-contractor position supporting a niche, professional law practice with a modest daily call volume. The role is well suited for someone who already works from home and is looking to supplement their income with a permanent part-time job. APPLICANTS This position is open only to individual applicants located in California. COMPENSATION Flat daily rate of $100 (independent contractor) Approximately 15 hours per week. This position involves approximately two hours of administrative work per day, which may be completed at any time during business hours. The coordinator must be available Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to receive occasional incoming calls and return calls the same day from a quiet work environment. This is a permanent part-time contract position with opportunity for additional responsibilities over time. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer incoming calls transferred from our answering service
  • Return calls to prospective and existing clients, insurers and law firms as needed
  • Conduct structured intake interviews with prospective clients
  • Communicate with clients regarding document needs and case coordination tasks
  • Prepare standard documents using templates, including:
  • Thank-you letters
  • Letters of representation
  • Authorizations
  • Requests for police reports
  • DMV record requests
  • Requests for death certificates
  • Declarations of heirs
  • Maintain accurate case information in case-management software (Filevine or similar)
  • Track records requests and follow-ups
  • Schedule consultations with the attorney
  • Assist with general case-coordination tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Applicants must reside in California
  • Fluent Spanish and English required
  • Minimum one year of experience working in a California personal-injury law firm required
  • Strong phone presence and communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking with surviving families after fatal accidents
  • Highly organized and dependable
  • Able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Experience with Filevine preferred but not required
  • Access to a quiet work environment during business hours required
  • Applications from virtual assistants, staffing agencies, and intake service providers will not be considered.

  • Prefers a steady, low-volume coordination role rather than a high-volume intake environment
  • Is looking for a long-term professional working relationship

This role is not suitable for companies offering intake or call-handling services. Pay: $100.00 per day
