Certified HECM Counselor (Bilingual – English/Spanish Required)

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and bilingual Certified HECM (Home Equity Conversion Mortgage) Counselor to join our dedicated team. • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• Strong understanding of financial counseling principles, including mortgage products, credit analysis, and debt management.
• Experience with crisis intervention and motivational interviewing techniques to support client decision-making processes.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, mental health considerations, and behavioral health principles relevant to client counseling.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, medical documentation standards, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and medical records management.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing case files, documentation, and follow-up activities efficiently.
