Body Radiologist

Partnership opportunity for a Body Radiologist in Athens, Georgia. Athens Radiology Associates is a private 30-physician radiology group serving the Athens and surrounding areas. We are seeking a board certified/board eligible fellowship-trained body imager to join our equitable, well established, collegial, thriving, subspecialty private practice. Our group provides services to 5 hospitals including a level II trauma center as well as multiple imaging centers. The ideal candidate will be hardworking and service oriented. The position is fairly specialized, with day work primarily involving body and thoracic CT, MRI & PET as well as basic nuclear medicine. Call work is general radiology. Mammography is not expected or necessary. This is a partnership track position with a competitive salary, benefits, and vacation. Shift assignments and call are shared equally from day one. • Call averages 8 weekends per year and 1 evening (5 hours) shift per month. Weekends have a dedicated neuro radiologists whose primary responsibilities consist of bread & butter neuro cases and specialized consults from local neuro surgery, neuro oncology, orthopedic, ENT and neurology practices.
• Tertiary referral hub with a large catchment area.

Candidates must be ABR board eligible or board certified, fellowship trained (or currently in a fellowship program) with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
