Remote 1099 Licensed Counselors and PMHNPs in Montana & Arizona

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate patient classification.
• Deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions including psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
• Provide specialized counseling for child and family issues, working with children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and those requiring special education support.
• Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention and crisis management techniques, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.
• Collaborate with patients on medication management and psychopharmacology plans when applicable, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
• Maintain detailed medical records and documentation of patient care activities using medical terminology and ICD coding for accurate billing and case management.
• Engage in clinical research or data collection efforts to enhance treatment protocols and improve patient outcomes within behavioral health settings.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on social work, grief counseling, PTSD care, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and chronic pain management.
• Ensure compliance with all telehealth regulations and standards for remote patient care while providing exceptional patient support through direct support services.

Experience

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Proven experience in behavioral health settings with a focus on mental health counseling, clinical counseling, or psychiatric care.
• Demonstrated expertise in working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities including autism spectrum disorder.
• Strong background in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management, and trauma-informed care such as PTSD or grief counseling.
• Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic evaluation and billing purposes.
• Experience delivering telehealth services using secure platforms while adhering to HIPAA standards.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and treatments; experience with inpatient or outpatient clinic environments is preferred.
