Telehealth Nurse Practitioner- Multi State

Job Description

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team, primarily through asynchronous visits. Responsibilities: •Evaluate medical and behavioral health conditions •Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses •Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments with applicable prescriptive authority in your designated state •Conduct virtual exams while documenting findings •Recommend and construct treatment plans •Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures to improve processes or quality of care •Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities, when applicable •Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care, where applicable •Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to evolving processes Qualifications: •Previous experience as an advanced practice registered nurse •Previous experience providing quality care to patients across the lifespan •Current national certification in family practice through ANCC, AANP, or another nationally recognized certification •Outstanding clinical expertise in evidence-based practice •Competence in providing patient education •Prescriptive authority in designated state •Ability to build rapport with patients and coworkers •Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Strong leadership qualities •Above average comfort with technology and providing care via telehealth platform DirectShifts is an Equal Opportunity Employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
