Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist / Order Clerk, you'll be responsible for handling purchase orders, processing shipments, and managing customer service requests with precision and professionalism. You'll work closely with our sales and scheduling teams to ensure accurate pricing and availability, and collaborate with drivers to guarantee efficient delivery of products. Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and process purchase orders with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Process shipments and orders for pick up, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Assist sales and scheduling teams with pricing and availability, providing exceptional customer service
  • Track vendor shipments and communicate with drivers to ensure smooth delivery of products
  • Manage customer service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly, providing a positive experience for our customers
  • Work to streamline and improve processes, identifying areas for growth and improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive results

Requirements

* High school diploma or GED equivalent certification

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Typing speed of 35+ wpm and 10-key-by-touch required
  • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills, with the ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results

Physical Requirements

* Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

  • Occasional sedentary work that involves sitting/standing
  • Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
