About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ROI Data Entry Administrator to join our team at arenaflex. As a medical records management specialist, you will be responsible for retrieving and logging medical records requests into our ROI system, ensuring seamless communication with team members and clients, and maintaining the highest standards of data accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

As an ROI Data Entry Administrator at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing our electronic data system to process information efficiently and accurately
  • Ensuring timely completion of client requests to prevent backlog and maintain productivity standards
  • Communicating effectively with team members and client representatives to resolve issues and address concerns
  • Making informed decisions about what specific record components to release or make available, in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Reviewing and applying HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance with privacy statutes and maintain the confidentiality of patient information
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management, while working within the scope of your position and direction
  • Determining records to be released by reviewing requestor information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Completing release of information requests with complete accuracy and quality checks, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity
  • Retrieving patient's medical charts and pulling medical records accurately according to requests
  • Electronically transmitting medical records to processing operations, maintaining the security and confidentiality of patient information
  • Recording hours utilizing proper class codes and activity codes in our electronic time keeping system
  • Adhering to productivity standards for each client's work as assigned, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic data systems
  • Accurate data entry skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in high volume production environments, with a strong focus on productivity and efficiency
  • Experience retrieving information from computer databases is highly desirable
  • Dependable with good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • College course or degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or medical records management
  • Positive teamwork-oriented attitude, with a strong commitment to collaboration and communication
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical records management principles
