Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Providing Exceptional Customer Service: Respond to incoming call inquiries from patients, providers, and benefit offices in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner.
- Handling Inbound and Outbound Calls: Place and receive calls to patients and doctor's offices for prescription refills, provide information and education on mail order pharmacy benefits, and assist with routine questions concerning pharmacy benefits.
- Promoting One-Stop Service: Assist patients with general co-pay inquiries, order status inquiries, and provide timely and accurate information on product knowledge requests.
- Accurate Documentation: Accurately document each call taken or placed, ensuring that all necessary information is recorded and updated in our system.
- HIPAA Compliance: Maintain knowledge of HIPAA laws and medical adverse events, ensuring that all patient information is handled confidentially and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:
- 1+ Year Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- 1+ Year Computer Experience: Familiarity with computer systems, software, and technology, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
- Customer Service Engagement: Demonstrated ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide solutions to their problems.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and demonstrate flexibility in dealing with internal and external customers.
Physical Demands
As a Customer Service Associate, you will be required to:
- Sit for Long Periods: Regularly sit at a computer terminal for extended periods, with occasional breaks to stretch and move around.
- Talk or Hear: Regularly talk or hear, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams.
Work Environment
As a Work-from-Home position, you will be required to:
- Work from Home: Perform duties from a home-based environment, with occasional requests to work in the office.
- Occasional Saturday Work: Work an occasional Saturday from 8-12pm, with prior notice and approval.
