Job Summary
As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules. This is a part-time, remote position that offers flexibility and autonomy, with a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for career growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules
- Delete messages made by users that violate our rules
- Ban users who have multiple and repeat violations of our rules
- Mute users who have violated our rules
- Investigate reports made by users about violations of our rules
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and rules
- Provide excellent customer service and support to users
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in community management and conflict resolution
Qualifications
* Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with Discord and other online community platforms
- Experience with conflict resolution and community management (desired)
