We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our team, working remotely and contributing to the daily administration of our 401(k) plan and other benefits.

About the Team/Position

As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for the daily administration of our 401(k) plan and other benefits, working closely with our senior leadership team and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You'll also be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve and streamline our benefits administration processes, simplifying and streamlining our approaches, and assisting our associates in understanding and engaging with their financial benefits.

  • You've got project management experience, including data analysis, market research, and benefits program design.
  • You're adaptable, curious, and not comfortable with the status quo, but rather are constantly looking to improve applications, procedures, and results.
  • You have excellent listening skills, critical thinking abilities, and answer-articulation skills.
  • You own strong analytical skills, some knowledge of statistical analysis, and are comfortable working with large data sets.
  • You bring knowledge of 401(k) plans or other retirement plans.

What You'll Do

* Work with senior leadership team and legal counsel to ensure accurate procedures are in place to maintain compliance with 401(k) related regulations by researching pending law and changes to laws; managing enrollment requests within allocated timeframe; developing, organizing, and facilitating process training to ensure procedures are compliant; participating with internal and external stakeholders to roll out and communicate community procedures, communication materials, and resources to the team; supporting with escalated calls associated with appeals cases; writing and responding to service inquiries from customers; and developing, monitoring, and reporting outcomes to management.

  • Manage third-party administrators (TPAs) by researching and benchmarking new TPAs and business partners; providing analytical support and recommendations to senior management to make plan design decisions; conducting on-site visits and audits; working with TPA contacts to ensure service and financial goals are met according to contractual agreement; maintaining open lines of communication with TPAs; translating requirements to ensure proper interpretation and benefits administration; providing education and training to TPAs; reviewing and approving third-party and supplemental plan communications; and regularly reviewing and recommending upgrades to multiple benefits systems.
  • Manage digital eligibility files and discrepancies for all benefits plans to ensure they are administered and achieved in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations by researching and decoding new and changing rules; determining needed system and process solutions to conform with new requirements; resolving identified problems based on file information; collaborating with providers to make desired changes; and creating and enforcing necessary reporting and controls around business strategies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage plan design change projects for benefits systems by researching challenge desires; interpreting record layout requirements and evaluating them to current systems; translating record requirements to ensure proper business procedures and benefits management from a systems perspective; evaluating modern system barriers; determining needed system changes to support record requirements; identifying potential effects of changes to system processes; participating with information systems division to determine the best solution while maintaining compliance; influencing and negotiating with vendors to address record connectivity; providing guidance to new vendors regarding requirements for system connectivity; managing eligibility report programming among multiple vendors; resolving complex problems which affect internal teams and external vendors; and developing performance reviews.

Develops Challenge Plans and Leads Business Customers Through the Challenge Management System * Determines wanted changes and record requirements; ensures adoption of changes and record requirements; creates communication plans to announce challenge techniques to leadership, challenge team, and stakeholders; works with the business unit and project team to determine challenge approval parameters; and handles the approval process for mission parameter adjustments. Demonstrates Up-to-Date Expertise and Applies This to the Development, Execution, and Improvement of Action Plans * Provides professional advice and guidance to others in the application of data and best practices; supports and aligns efforts to meet client and business needs; and builds commitment for views and rationales.

* Builds relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifies business needs; determines and carries out necessary strategies and practices; monitors development and outcomes; recognizes and capitalizes on development opportunities; and adapts to competing needs, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
