Proofreader (French/Luxembourg)

We are looking for a meticulous Proofreader to support short-term remote assignments for clients in detail-oriented services. This Contract position is remote and offers project-based work lasting 3 days per assignment, with an expected start in early . The role focuses on reviewing multilingual documents for accuracy, consistency, and readability while meeting established turnaround expectations.

Responsibilities

• Review written materials in French (Luxembourg) and correct issues related to spelling, grammar, punctuation, and layout
• Refine documents to ensure wording, tone, and language usage align with local standards and intended meaning
• Check content carefully for consistency, completeness, and adherence to project instructions before final delivery
• Manage assigned proofreading tasks within tight timelines while maintaining a high level of quality
• Communicate progress, clarification needs, and potential issues to the project team in a timely manner
• Handle confidential or sensitive information responsibly throughout the review process
• At least 1 year of experience requiring strong attention to detail in proofreading, editing, or document review
• Business-level fluency in French (Luxembourg)
• Strong command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and written communication standards
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and complete project-based assignments on schedule
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and other common digital document tools
• High attention to detail and a consistent approach to quality control when reviewing content
