Google Kubernetes Engine
Job Description: Kubernetes - Expert Developer with GKE, RabbitMQ and DevOps Experience Will support client's existing GKE clusters on Google Cloud Platform. OXY is looking for interim support for GKE prod and non-prod environments. This will be for 6-9 months as they migrate from Google Cloud Platform to Azure. This does not include any "infrastructure" deployments containing things dedicated to running Kubernetes. The majority of the projects are being decommissioned. The application teams and DevOps engineers at OXY will continue to support the applications. Clients Google Cloud Platform engineer(s) will support the infrastructure and set up proactive measures to prevent or minimize the downtime of the environments (mainly GKE). Work to be Performed: Contractor's personnel will assist supporting the infrastructure and setting up measures to prevent or minimize the downtime of the environments. Contractor's personnel will support Company by diagnosing and troubleshooting Google Cloud Platform infrastructure related inquiries as they arise. The support required includes JFrog Artifactory (stores container images), Persistent Volumes (persistent cloud storage for things running in GKE), load balancers and Azure DevOps (stores Helm charts, DevOps pipelines, etc.) Additional Skills: 1 - Google Kubernetes Engine (P4 - Expert) 2 - DevOps (P3 - Advanced) 3 - Google Cloud Container Services (P3 - Advanced) Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
