Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Java developer to join our Client Systems team. As a Java developer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying complex software systems that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with our business leaders and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy complex software systems using Java and Java-based technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
- Work independently to identify and resolve technical issues, and to develop and implement new solutions
- Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets arenaflex's coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Java and related technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve arenaflex's software systems
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize technical projects and initiatives
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on backend systems
- Strong understanding of Java and Java-based technologies, including Spring, REST, and multi-threading
- Experience with database design and data access technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on backend systems
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Azure
- Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies
- Experience with big data and data analytics technologies
