Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at arenaflex. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, cloud-based data pipelines that support our business operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, design data pipelines, and implement data solutions that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop scalable, cloud-based data pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Python

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and design data pipelines that meet business needs
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, data set designs, and data visualization strategies
• Work with data scientists and analysts to deliver datasets as input to science models and visualizations
• Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to ensure data pipeline efficiency and reliability
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure code organization, development, and deployment best practices
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and cloud computing

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
• Proficiency in Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
• Strong understanding of data set design and capabilities
• Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with cloud-based design and product offerings, ideally AWS

• Experience managing and deploying code using a source control tool like GitLab/GitHub
• Experience using Docker
• Experience working with data visualization tools and technologies
• Strong understanding of data governance and compliance regulations
