Key Responsibilities

As a TikTok Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries via email, chat, and social media, providing timely and effective solutions to their questions and concerns.
  • Troubleshooting user issues, including account access, content violations, or app functionality problems, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate internal teams when necessary.
  • Educating users on TikTok features, policies, and best practices, ensuring they have a positive and engaging experience on our platform.
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and solutions provided, using data to inform and improve our customer support processes.
  • Delivering a positive customer experience while meeting performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (a Bachelor's degree is a plus).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Previous experience in customer service, social media management, or tech support is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms, especially TikTok, and a deep understanding of our platform's features and policies.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and stay organized, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with online collaboration tools, such as Slack and Zoom, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
