• Perform order entry tasks, including calculating and verifying correct dosages based on prescriptions
• Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and provide best-in-class customer service
• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
• Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely processing
• Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
• Create and maintain accurate customer records

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry
• PTCB National Certification
