Job Summary
arenaflex is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our remote team on a part-time basis. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
- Utilize arenaflex's solution information section methodology and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system.
- Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
- Investigate to obtain missing medication data, and decipher clinical shortenings (SIG codes).
- Resolve all information section-related exceptions.
- Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound decisions to prescribers and patients as necessary.
- Resolve Outsider Oddballs by assessing, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements.
- Make phone calls to support plans and others to obtain data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise resolve the Outsider Oddballs.
- Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations.
- Identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
Essential Capabilities
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential capabilities:
- Fundamental level computer skills, including starting and closing a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing reports, or accessing data online.
- Essential web search skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
- Moderate level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing reports.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Capabilities
While not required, the following preferred capabilities would be beneficial in this role:
- At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment.
- No less than one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a license/enrollment by state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
- Moderate to advanced level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and designing reports.
- Familiarity with Spanish and English.
