Responsibilities
As a Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services, and narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments
- Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review, and developing and maintaining a knowledge base of evolving products and services
- Utilizing your excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborating with colleagues to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas for improving customer service and driving results
- Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and services
Qualifications
To succeed as a Chat Specialist, you'll need:
- Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry (although not necessary, it's a plus)
- Basic internet and window-based computer skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to change
- A positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
- A quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions, with a reliable computer or laptop, webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse
- The ability to attend 4 weeks of remote training, Tuesday-Saturday between the hours of 11am-7:30pm EDT
