Network Engineering with AI Detailed Job Description Job Title: Network Engineer / Network Engineering Specialist with AI Location: Redmond (Open for Remote) Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with AI exposure to support and modernize large-scale cloud and network infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in Hyperscaler cloud platforms, HyperNet infrastructure, and migration of enterprise networking environments to scalable cloud-native architectures. The role involves designing, implementing, automating, and optimizing secure network solutions across hybrid and cloud environments, with a focus on Azure/Microsoft technologies, AI-driven operations, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Network Infrastructure
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade network infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Support migration from HyperNet Infrastructure to Hyperscaler Infrastructure.
- Configure and manage:
- Load Balancers
- NAT Gateways
- Private Endpoints
- DNS Services
- Firewalls
- Network Security Policies
- VPNs and ExpressRoute/Direct Connect
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and secure connectivity between on-prem and cloud environments.
Hyperscaler & Azure Expertise
- Work extensively on Microsoft Azure networking services including:
- Azure Virtual Networks (VNet)
- Azure Firewall
- Azure Load Balancer
- Application Gateway
- Azure DNS
- NSG (Network Security Groups)
- Azure Private Link / Private Endpoint
- ExpressRoute
- Experience with other hyperscalers such as:

• Build and maintain multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud networking architectures. AI & Automation Responsibilities
- Implement AI-assisted monitoring and predictive analytics for network operations.
- Work with AI/ML-based tools for:
- Network anomaly detection
- Traffic optimization
- Predictive failure analysis
- Intelligent alerting
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using:
- Terraform
- Ansible
- PowerShell
- Python
- Integrate AI-enabled operational tools for proactive network management.
Security & Compliance
- Implement enterprise network security standards and best practices.
- Configure and maintain:
- Firewalls
- WAF policies
- Zero Trust networking
- Identity-aware access controls
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Migration & Transformation
- Lead or support migration projects from traditional network environments to cloud-native architectures.
- Assess existing HyperNet infrastructure and design migration strategies toward hyperscaler platforms.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, latency, and security issues during migration activities.

- Terraform Associate
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in large enterprise or hyperscale cloud environments.
- Strong exposure to Microsoft ecosystem and Azure infrastructure.
- Experience supporting AI-enabled infrastructure operations.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes networking and container networking is a plus.
