The Opportunity

As a Customer Service Representative I at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in providing high-quality service to customers related to the Department of Education's Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You'll participate in high-volume outbound and inbound call campaigns, adhere to approved call scripts and compliance guidelines, and respond to customer questions while ensuring the highest standards of customer service. Key Responsibilities

* Participate in high-volume outbound and inbound call campaigns based on assigned call lists

  • Adhere to approved call scripts and compliance guidelines
  • Provide consistent high-quality service to customers
  • Respond to customer questions while ensuring the highest standards of customer service
  • Utilize software, scripts, and tools appropriately
  • Appropriately document all encounters in clear and concise online logs
  • Employ empathic support to customers
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Four to six months of customer service experience in a call center environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional phone voice and etiquette
  • Ability to follow instructions and scripts
  • Skilled in active listening
  • Proficient with computers, and good typing skills
  • Strong time management and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of the FAFSA
  • Knowledge of college financial aid and admissions processes

Preferred Qualifications

* Work experience in a college financial aid office or college administrative office

  • Strong knowledge of college financial aid and admissions processes

Work Environment

* Remote work environment with occasional opportunities to work in an office with a small cubicle environment

  • Climate-controlled office environment with no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions
