What You'll Do
As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Connecting directly with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription approvals, resolve customer issues, and clarify order requests
- Conducting thorough research and issue resolution to determine the best solutions for clients and partners, and following up on a case-by-case basis to resolve issues
- Completing accurate and efficient data entry of prescriptions into arenaflex's healthcare software
- Maintaining a high level of quality through data entry and order handling of veterinary pharmacy orders
- Working with empathy, attention to detail, patience, compassion, and kindness to clients and partners alike
- Demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow, with a culture that encourages feedback, growth, and development
- Communicating with veterinary facilities via telephone (and occasionally other channels) on a variety of topics, primarily using our internal software and systems to explore solutions and record client notes
- Expecting a significant portion of the typical business day to be spent on outbound veterinary center/client telephone contacts
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2 years of experience working in a customer or healthcare-focused environment
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Ability to multitask (e.g., chatting on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes)
- A strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy
- Strong decision-making skills
- Proven ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adjust to changing business needs and adapt to new situations
- Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
