Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Experience Agent, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing Exceptional Customer Service: Field incoming customer service calls, assuming responsibility to resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Account Research and Resolution: Research account status and identify account issues, addressing billing inquiries and resolving billing disputes.
  • Disconnection and Re-connection Requests: Process disconnection and re-connection requests, ensuring seamless service transitions.
  • Enrollment and Resolution: Enroll customers and resolve enrollment issues, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Collection Activity: Initiate collection activity on past due accounts and process disconnection and re-connection requests.
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as a customer advocate while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role.

Skills and Knowledge

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required: Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with customers.
  • Outstanding Phone Etiquette and Communication Skills: Polished communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent Listening Skills: The ability to listen attentively to customers and understand their needs is vital for resolving issues efficiently.

Experience

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 1 Year of Experience in an Inbound Call Center Environment: A minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment is required, with customer care experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience within the Retail Electricity Industry: Experience within the retail electricity industry is strongly preferred, as is experience in similar markets such as utilities, telecom, or cable.
