Job Description

We're seeking an experienced home based data entry typist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a home based data entry typist, you'll be responsible for transcribing information in a timely and accurate manner. You'll work independently, submitting completed assignments in the required format, and maintaining a record of completed tasks and logged hours worked.

Key Responsibilities:

* Gathering and organizing material for data entry tasks

• Typing memorandums, reports, and other documents using stipulated word processing software
• Preparing work in accordance with prescribed formatting guidelines
• Proofreading assignments and amending mistakes before submission
• Submitting completed work via email or online portal
• Filing and storing copies of completed assignments
• Maintaining a record of completed tasks and logging hours worked
• Staying up-to-date with changes in pertinent word processing software

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Excellent written communication skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Attentive to detail
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Own personal or laptop computer with reliable internet connection
