About the Job

We're excited to announce a remote Senior GL Bookkeeper position that will play a critical role in driving process improvements and ensuring accurate financial reporting for our organization. As a Senior GL Bookkeeper, you'll work closely with our Bookkeeping team to achieve business objectives by driving forward process upgrades and guaranteeing precise financial reporting. You'll report directly to our Senior Bookkeeping Director and be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about making a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger

• Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external entities for explicitly assigned functional areas
• Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
• Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
• Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders regarding significant accounting matters
• Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For:

• Sharp business acumen and process-oriented
• Data-driven and unafraid to dig down to the lowest level of detail for truth and high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication, oral, and written skills, including strong proficiency in English
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification an asset
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage and process large amounts of data
