Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team in a remote work arrangement. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, architectures, and applications that support our business growth and improve patient outcomes. You will work closely with our data science team to develop data-driven solutions that drive business decisions and improve patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop scalable data pipelines, architectures, and applications that support our business growth and improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with our data science team to develop data-driven solutions that drive business decisions and improve patient care
- Develop and maintain large-scale data processing systems using cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Design and implement data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts to support business intelligence and analytics
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing
- Work with our data science team to integrate machine learning models and algorithms into our data pipelines
- Develop and maintain data quality and governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Investigate current data technology trends and identify opportunities to improve our data infrastructure and processes
- Collaborate with our IT team to develop and implement data security and compliance frameworks
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with SQL, Python, and cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark) and data warehousing (Snowflake or Redshift)
- Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with data science tools and technologies (R, Python, or Julia)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js)
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git)
