Experienced Customer Service Representative – Remote in EST or CST

Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for scheduling in-home visits with physicians or nurse practitioners, answering inbound calls from members, and ensuring that appointments are scheduled accurately. This is a high-volume, customer service environment that requires efficiency, productivity, and thoroughness when dealing with our members over the phone. You'll need to be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours. Primary Responsibilities * Call members to schedule in-home visits with a physician or a nurse practitioner. * Answer inbound calls from members and assist them with their inquiries. * Ensure that appointments are scheduled accurately and resolve any scheduling issues or concerns. Required Qualifications * High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience. * Must be 18 years or older. * 1 year of work experience. * Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (create/edit/save/send documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence). * Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements. * Ability to work an 8-hour shift between our normal business hours of 9:00 am to 5:30 pm local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in the healthcare industry. * Experience working with Medicaid or Medicare. * Experience working in a customer retention-focused role. Telecommuting Requirements * Reside within EST or CST. * Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable). * Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. * Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service. * Must be able to connect directly into the internet via a hard wire (either directly to the modem or router). Soft Skills * Ability to type and talk at the same time while navigating through multiple screens. * Experience working in a metric-driven work environment. * Experience using an auto dialer system. * All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy. Compensation and Benefits The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. arenaflex complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
