Designer - Ecommerce & CRO (Shopify)
Responsibilities
- Translate briefs into high-quality, functional designs aligned with client goals and audiences
- Create source of truth documentation with detailed annotations and assets to developers and other team members
- Build and maintain comprehensive Figma design systems and component libraries
- Find ways to bring your work to life through motion design or high-fidelity prototypes
- Advise clients on e-commerce and UX best practices
Requirements
- 2+ years of agency or freelance experience, preferably in-house at DTC brands and/or agencies
- Proven experience designing for Shopify storefronts
- Proficient in Figma (including prototyping and variable component systems)
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly present design decisions
- Self-managed and proactive, with strong organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable working asynchronously in a remote-first environment
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize and present findings and articulate design rationale
- Passion for working in a highly iterative, collaborative environment where people share work and contribute with a positive attitude
- An enthusiastic, flexible, and curious mindset that appreciates popular culture and advocates for a design-driven approach
- A portfolio showcasing your work
Benefits
- Duration: 3 months (possible extension)
- Approximately 15 hours weekly
- Pay: $20 per hour
- This is a contract role with no employment benefits
